Three things tell me that: This is not always the case, but is a good starting point.

Generally, if a wall is load bearing, these joists will be perpendicular to the wall.

How to tell if a wall is load bearing in a condo. Start at the lowest point of the house. Check if the wall is an external or internal wall. Go into your attic or basement and look at the direction of your floor joists.
Load bearing walls often have walls above them. Then the doors or windows on the floor above it may rub, stick, or not open because of the framing in the wall that the door or window is in may have shifted. If a load bearing wall has been removed on the first floor without proper support installed for the load above it;
Go upstairs and see if the wall continues from below. It's important to realize if you discover a wall or a beam directly below this wall or parallel with the wall within a short distance, then the suspect wall may be a bearing wall. The best way to tell if a wall is load bearing is to go in the attic/ceiling space to see if there is any framing (joists/rafers/trusses) supported by that wall.
So, look for that when inspecting a single wide home. This was commonly done to save on the cost of longer lumber. In an unfinished basement, it is easier to see the metal beams or columns that run from one side of the room to the other.
Bearing walls are not always stacked one on top of another. Learn how to identify the essential structural elements of your floor plan. Simply look up and see if you can spot beams or joists that run the length of the ceiling.
Any walls beneath these beams are probably also load bearing. Yes that is for sure [the wall is load bearing]. There is a note about a header in that door opening.
If it is a small home, usually roof framing is in one direction only (north/south or east/west). If a wall is marked with an “s” in your blueprints, that means the wall. And the best way to locate the structural walls in your building is to refer to the blueprints.
The span of those joists over to the main beam is to long to be supported by the size of joists indicated with out some support along the way. Notice how the joists above the wall run perpendicular to the wall itself. Look at the photo below.
Many times, if the joists run perpendicular to the wall, it is load bearing. Another good way to tell in old construction is to look and see if the ceiling joists are sistered above the wall (if they are running perpendicular), if they are it is definitely a bearing wall. On top of this, some of the joists actually end on the wall.
There is a concrete footing (dotted lines) under that wall. In other words, any attempts to bring that wall down means you will undoubtedly be bringing the entire structure down as well.
